About the program
The International Pelvic Surgery Certification Program establishes a structured international benchmark for surgeons involved in the care of pelvic and acetabular injuries.
It is designed to evaluate the knowledge, technical skills and clinical judgment required for high-quality surgical care, with a strong focus on patient safety and professional practice.

Participants move through independent preparation, an in-person skills assessment and an expert discussion of their own clinical cases. The program also encourages collaborative learning and multidisciplinary problem-solving.
BUILT ON SHARED STANDARDS
The program is based on the ISOPS/ESPA Core Competencies, which reflect internationally recognized standards in surgical practice.

Both modules follow the same three-part structure, creating a consistent workload and assessment process.

Self-learning and preparation
Independent study using module-specific preparatory materials before the practical assessment.

Candidate Selection
Applications are reviewed according to the applicant’s CV, surgical career and academic work in pelvic and acetabular surgery.
